Rachel Brouwer is the 2011 third place winner of the Senior Performance Competition.
Rachel Brouwer is a senior from Black Mountain, North Carolina. She attends Charles D. Owen High School and has studied piano since the age of five. In addition to playing piano, Rachel plays flute in her school band and enjoys singing and playing guitar. Music has always been a huge part of Rachel’s life. While she does not plan to have a career in music, she desires to keep playing the instrument she loves for many years to come.
